Famasty is a fantasy football recap service operated by Addo. It publishes weekly league stories, awards, and podcasts for invited leagues. This policy describes the information we collect and why.
Information we collect
- Account. Name, email address, and optional profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name, email, and profile image Google shares for that consent.
- League records. Team names, weekly scores, transactions, recaps, awards, podcasts, and other content commissioners or members save in Famasty.
- Messages we send you. Invite, verification, and league-admin email, sent from Famasty addresses on addo.io.
- Technical data. A signed-in session cookie, and ordinary server logs such as IP address and browser used to reach the site.
Commissioners may also import scores and transactions from ESPN into Famasty’s review queue. That import uses the commissioner’s ESPN login in their browser. It is not part of Google sign-in.
How we use it
- Create and keep your Famasty account.
- Show you the leagues you belong to and let commissioners run those leagues.
- Generate and publish recaps, awards, and podcasts from saved league results.
- Send email that is required to join a league or recover access.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google account data for advertising.
Who can see it
League recaps and related pages may be visible to anyone with the league URL. Account email and sign-in details are not published on those pages. Service providers that host Famasty (currently Google Cloud and Amazon SES for mail) process data only to run the service.
Cookies
Famasty uses a session cookie so you stay signed in. It is required for the logged-in product. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and league records while the league is active. Email famasty@addo.io if you want your account removed. Commissioners can also remove league membership from the desk.
Children
Famasty accounts are for adults who run or join a league. Some leagues write family-friendly recaps about youth teams. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13.
